TIMELY NOTES!
God is not so far from where you are; you’ve probably been traveling on a slow means of transportation. If you want to get to where God is, don’t board a plane, board faith. In Hebrews 11:6 the bible says, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him”. Did you see that? “He that cometh to God must believe that He is…”. The journey to God requires a definite ride on faith.
Show me the faith that proves that you’re looking up to God. Don’t quit your job and claim that you’re having faith for another one. Faith is activated by an understanding of God’s word. If you quit your job based on your feelings for the job and not based on your faith in God, chances are that you’d not get a new one on time. By faith, Moses refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, and chose rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. Rejecting royalty just to pursue destiny is something really big; did he even consider the torments that may come to him? But notice that he didn’t reject the name by his feelings for his people, he rejected the name by faith. Results are sure when your actions are faith motivated.
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; ALWAYS DISCERN THE FEELINGS; IF IT’S NOT FAITH, THEN DON’T TAKE A STEP UNTIL YOU’RE CONVINCED THAT IT IS. A STEP WITHOUT FAITH MAY LEAD TO A WRECK. Have a most fruitful day, in Jesus precious name!
And hey, don’t forget to “like” it. And if you really like it, please share it!
