TIMELY NOTES!
If you still haven’t gotten a job, then maybe you’ve been submitting your CV the wrong way. Mysteriously, the same companies that told you that there is no vacancy have enough job offers for you, and even your friends. This was what happened to Peter, he toiled all night but couldn’t catch a fish, just as many people toil round their nation but still do not get a job. You see, people may neglect you when you meet them before God meets them. It’s more like saying, before you submit your CV, first submit God’s word. When God’s word goes first, then you can be sure of coming back with the best.
The bible tells us that “God’s word cannot go out of His mouth and come back to Him without a performance of what He said”. If that’s the case, if you can find the word that guarantees that you’d get a job, then expect to get a job on your next attempt to apply for a job. Peter had casted his net into the water all night, but couldn’t catch a fish; but as soon as Jesus spoke the word to him, his next attempt to catch a fish secured a net-breaking order of fishes. Even his friends that was also suffering the same fate benefitted from the breakthrough.
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; AS BELIEVERS, THE POWER WE HAVE DOES NOT ONLY DRAW BLESSINGS TO US, IT ALSO DRAWS BLESSINGS FOR THOSE AROUND US. THAT’S HOW THEY’D KNOW WE’RE PEOPLE OF POWER. Have a most fruitful weekend, in Jesus precious name!
