TIMELY NOTES!
You don’t have control over a man who is hungry. If you want an hungry man to listen to you, satisfy his hunger first. No matter how much a man loves you, when hunger comes, you’d think he hates you. Pastors, the obvious reason why your church is not growing is because you’ve not succeeded in satisfying the hunger of your congregation. Things are fast changing; the percentage of people who are looking for the miracle of understanding is far more than those who are looking for the miracle of healing and deliverance. No matter how much you pray for me, I may never experience the manifestation except I gain knowledge from your prayers. Your tears for my predicament won’t move me as much as knowledge will.
The era of Hosea 4:6 is fully manifesting. Have you seen people who are less concerned about the sickness in their body, but go everywhere they can just to quench the hunger they have for God’s word? Their lack of knowledge and understanding is more painful to them than the pain of the sickness in their body. And it’s not like they’re deliberately ignoring the sickness, their love for God just won’t let them give attention to that sickness. Amazingly, these kind of people don’t die of sickness. With time, knowledge and understanding covers their pain, and you’d think they never had that sickness.
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; AS A BELIEVER, DON’T DECEIVE YOURSELF; IF YOU’RE NOT BEING FED WHERE YOU ARE, THEN FIND SOMEONE WHO WILL FEED YOU. LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO LIVE IN SENTIMENTS. Have a most fruitful day, in Jesus precious name!
