In life, when you prepare, prepare to meet the king. If you sow cloths, can you sow cloths for the president? I know you probably know how to bake cake, but can your design and concept meet the standard of your state governor? If the people who admire your work can’t give you contracts, then you need to either upgrade your skill or change those class of people. I’ve been ghostwriting and editing books for some years now, but can I edit or write a book on behalf of the president? Yes, the bible says “we shall be above only”, but that’s not an automated process. As a matter of thoughts, it’s a guide on how you should channel your focus, “The Top”. It means you should develop your products and services to a point that people at the top will begin to patronize you.
We should begin to ask ourselves questions like; “Why is the president not buying from me?”, “Why can’t those top organizations contact me for my services?” Skill answers these questions. Except God favours you, don’t expect the same mentor who taught you how to satisfy an average client to teach you how to satisfy the king. Seek mentorship from those who service kings and learn from them, even if it will cost you. The truth is, the limit at which you prospect is determined by how much skill you’ve processed. Those who have skills that can service the king love to work with kings, but those who have not developed such skills fear when they have an opportunity to service the king.
