To win any battle, be careful for nothing. I’ve wondered what the motivation of these terrorist groups are, but I’ve come realize that they are not afraid to die. Their belief system teaches them that dying is an honour, and that’s why many of them joyfully go for suicide missions. Clearly, this is why terrorism may not discontinue in this world; the people who are fighting against these terrorists have families and cherish their lives, but these terrorists don‘t care about their lives. They say soldiers sign a death warrant before they join the army, but how many of them really wants to die for their nation?
I watched Portugal’s goal against Morocco in the current FIFA worldcup. Christiano Ronaldo took plenty of risk knodding that ball even when he saw a defender’s strong body and foot going for the ball. It could have led to an unbearable face injury. I guess he didn’t care. But guess what? That was the risk required to score the only goal of that match. How much can you really achieve from a cause you’re not willing to dedicate your life to? Even Jesus referred to this principle in Luke 9:24 when He said, “For if you want to save your own life, you will lose it, but if you lose your life for my sake, you will save it”. Success requires that you go all out!
