TIMELY NOTES!
When Satan misbehaved, God subdued him. He was able to subdue him because He had dominion over the heavens. After God made man in His image, He gave man dominion over the earth. And just as He was giving His closing statements, He said “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it”. Did you notice the lines “subdue it”? That’s what you should do when earthly things begin to misbehave, subdue them. Don’t tell me “things are not working”, subdue them and put them in a working condition.
In Ps 115:16, the bible says “the heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men”. This should be clear enough; God gave the earth to man. If the earth ever gets out of line, don’t blame God for it; instead, put it back inline. If you need a breakthrough, don’t just lay back and say things like, “I guess it’s God’s will”. Use your faith and change thecircumstance! Subdue it! Take dominion overit!God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. The word “likeness” in the originalHebrew means “an exact duplication in kind”. God duplicated Himself in kind! Man didn’tspring from a monkey. He didn’t come from a cattle. Man is an exact duplicate in kind to God. Isn’t it beautiful to know that you’re God’s kind of person on the earth?
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; THE NEXT TIME SOMEONE ASKS YOU WHAT KIND OF PERSON YOU ARE, TELL THEM YOU’RE GOD’S KIND OF PERSON. Have a most fruitful week, in Jesus precious name!
