TIMELY NOTES!
“Sir, how do I become a better singer?”. Increase your understanding about singing. There’s something you can understand about music that will transform your singing career and draw more followers to yourself. Prov 4:7 tells us that “wisdom is the principal thing; but as much as you get wisdom, also get understanding”. Wisdom is knowing what to do; it’s the correct application of knowledge. But the fact that you applied what you know correctly doesn’t mean what you know is the best. There are some singers that when they begin to sing, people who listen to them find themselves crying. I know the anointing must be at work, but don’t be deceived, there’s also something they understand about singing that makes people cry.
Thank God for the anointing, but there’s something I understand about writing that makes my write-ups stand out. I’ve heard people say things like “Sir, when I read your write-ups, it’s always like an angel is talking to me”. Some say it’s impossible for a man to write the way I do, and that they ought to be written by the hand of God. Guess what? They’re all correct, and that’s because I understood that I could write in those dimensions. If you’re a tailor, what do you understand about fashion that can take you to the top without any hindrance? Most times, it’s not that some people are against our progress, but that we’ve not attained a level of understanding that would grant us the progress we desire. Obstacles don’t hang around you when understanding comes. When light comes, no matter the darkness that was tormenting you, you’d be free to arise and shine.
