TIMELY NOTES
God doesn’t like it when we worry over things He can easily fix. In Phil 4:6, the bible says, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God”. How would you feel when your spouse or children worry over things you can fix? Worry keeps you from rejoicing; and God wants us to always be in a state of rejoicing. Phil 4:4 specifically says “Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice”. So the moment your joy ceases, God gets concerned. I can imagine God asking “Why is this my child worried over something I can easily fix?”. Honestly, sometimes our anxiety over things worries God.
Don’t cast part of your challenges on God, cast all! In 1 Peter 5:7, the bible says “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you”. The challenge with many believers is that they don’t really understand that God cares for them. I’m not saying that your rent and other bills will suddenly disappear, but if you’d pray to God about it, He’d make a way for you to pay the rent or be sheltered. Yes, He’d make a way, and that’s because He cares for you. In fact, if He doesn’t make a way after you’ve prayed, then there’s no proof that He cares for you. But God is faithful, He will not allow you to be tempted above what you’re able to overcome; while in the temptation, He will make a way of escape. So instead of worrying over matters, just look for the way of escape that God has created.
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; WORRIED PEOPLE NEVER FIND SOLUTIONS, ONLY JOYFUL PEOPLE DO. IF YOU EVER WANT TO FIND A WAY OUT OF YOUR CHALLENGES, THEN QUIT WORRYING. Have a most fruitful weekend, in Jesus precious name!
And hey, don’t forget to “like” it. And if you really like it, please share it!
