“Pastor, I wake up every morning to discover that the money I kept in my pocket isn’t complete, even though I crosschecked the amount before I sleep. What could be wrong?”
Oh wow! That’s a serious situation. But let me guess, you probably don’t lose the money you kept in the bank or even that which you invest in business, right? If that’s the case, then you’re clearly dealing with an household enemy; as long as you keep bringing money home, then they’d keep stealing from that money just to ensure that you continually face dissapointments when you need to use that money. This is actually an old strategy of the wicked.
Perhaps you planned on purchasing some goods with that money the next day, only to realize that the money is no longer complete – which also means that the intended transaction would no longer be possible. Long before banks and commercial safes were implicated, this was a strategy that evil people used to impede the progress of family members.
They could take the money in any form. It could be through a spell on someone living with you, or even through domestic animals. And it won’t matter where you hide the money, as long as it is within your house, they’d find it. You’re very unlikely to experience that loss if the money is in the bank or with someone else within your house.
A brother in Winners Chapel shared a testimony of victory that was related to this. He noticed that any money he took home with him reduces by the next morning, but anytime he keeps the money with someone else, the money would be intact. It was so bad that in other for him to make profitable investments, he’d have to save money with people and invest through people. But he made a mistake one day and brought the money he planned to use for his wedding home. He was so heartbroken because by the next morning, the money had dissapeared.
While he was expressing his pain to a friend, he was invited to attend a church service at Winners Chapel and he did. He was giving a First Timers Pack during the service, and for some reason, he decided to put the money he had in his pocket that night inside that pack. To his amazement, the money was intact by the next morning. As he stepped out of his house, he saw two dead rats by his door. While he was pondering on how those rats died in such a weird manner, he received a call from his home town that two of his uncles had died mysteriously.
Clearly, those two uncles had been the ones behind his predicament. They probably tried to steal the money again that night, but there was a more powerful covering over that pack where the brother kept his money. That same covering must have struck those rats, which led to the demise of the two wicked uncles. From that day, this brother was delivered from that challenge.
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that someone that lives with you cannot be responsible for this. For all we know, it might just be the case. However, the difference would be that while the person who lives with you may not succeed in finding the money when you hide it in certain places, a wicked person literally has cameras in your house, they see you when you’re hiding the money in your cooking pot or deep freezer.
Having said that, whether you are dealing with a local thief or a demonic one, Satan is the father of all thieves. His mission is to steal, kill and destroy. The only way to be free from his robbery is to first genuinely receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Jesus would give you abundant life that Satan and his cohorts cannot tamper with. They may try, but they can’t succeed.
Once you’ve received Jesus, then you have authority to judge the thief anytime he steals from you. You literally don’t need to investigate a robbery, Satan is the thief, and everyone he used to perpetrate that evil against you should be judged. If you don’t declare judgement, the robbery may continue. “Suffer not a witch to live!”.
Bishop David Oyedepo has often shared an experience on how thieves invaded his office and made away with some important items. As soon as he heard, he declared judgement on all of them. The same day, report came that some of them died, while one of them ran mad. Coincidentally, the one that ran mad was brought to him for prayer, and as he attempted to pray, God told him not to because he was actually the one that sent the curse in the first place.
As I conclude, if the curse of the Lord is upon the house of the thief, stop trying to bless the thief, it’s a waste of time. Apply wisdom though, especially if you have people living with you. You may need to let them know that you’d be releasing judgement going forward. This is to ensure that they don’t become a victim.
I hope this has brought enlightenment to someone.
Remain ever blessed, in Jesus precious name!
