God knows you would feel pain on your quest for empowerment. He also knows you would become thirsty and hungry. The bible says “blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness, they shall be filled”. In other words, the people who suffer the pain of hunger and thirst just to draw nearer to God are blessed by God, and He fills them with His power and glory.
For those who are currently undergoing fasting and prayer exercise, I would like to encourage you from scriptures that; the sufferings and pains you are going through now is nothing compared to the glory that God will reveal to you in return. Is it not a wonderful thing to know that the hunger and thirst of a few days is putting the key to a glorious year in your hand? However, do not suffer for nothing. Create a study and prayer time while you fast. Fasting in its real sense means neglecting every other thing and drawing closer to God. And there is really no way to draw closer to God without studying about God.
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; KNOWLEDGE MAKES YOU AWARE OF WHAT GOD CAN DO, FASTING DRAWS YOU CLOSER TO WHAT GOD CAN DO, PRAYER GIVES YOU ACCESS TO WHAT GOD CAN DO, WHILE FAITH GIVES YOU POWER TO TAKE WHAT GOD HAS DONE. Have a most fruitful week, in Jesus precious name!
And hey, don’t forget to “like” it. And if you really like it, please share it!
