Panic is the absence of control and the presence of an overwhelming fear. It's easier to blame someone else for the happenings around our lives than to take responsibility. People who panic are those who have transferred their control to something or someone else. Panic is striving without arriving anywhere. Panic leaves you in a room where you won't know what to do; and the worse state anyone can be is a state without action. Panic leads to depression; and depression is a state of inactivity. It's impossible to be depressed and be active at the same time.
God does not expect us to live in panic; He has given us control over the earth. Isn't it a shame to know that most of the things we panic about are the same things we have control over? Scripturally speaking, there's really no situation that cannot be controlled. The bible says there's no challenge that comes to a man that is above the man. But choosing to panic at the appearance of a situation means you're transferring your control to that situation. Panic is satanic; it's what he gives to you in exchange for control. Job lived in panic; he made unnecessary sacrifices because he feared that evil may come upon his household. And it wasn't long before satan acquired the control to really torment him.
That's how far we'd go on today's Timely Note. But take these last words; AS A BELIEVER, YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THAT GOD WOULD NOT ALLOW EVIL TO BEFALL YOU. THE BIBLE SAYS GOD DID NOT GIVE US THE SPIRIT OF FEAR. AND THAT'S PROBABLY BECAUSE HE KNOWS THAT IF WE LIVE IN FEAR, WE'D ALSO LIVE IN THE BONDAGE OF SATAN. Have a most fruitful week! In Jesus precious name!
