TIMELY NOTES!
Responsibility takes sleep away from your eyes. I’ve often heard that taking coffee would keep a person awake; but taking coffee without a sense of responsibility will take you straight to bed. I worked for over 19 hours yesterday; and even when I slept, I couldn’t wait to rise up again. I only had opportunity to eat one meal; I felt the hunger, but it was just unfortunate that we have only 24 hours in one day. Maybe I would have considered having a second meal if 2 hours was added to one day. To be candid, I was really scared of going to eat, and that’s because it would consume the little time I had to complete what I was doing.
Before you start giving me lectures on why I mustn’t skip meals, let me be quick to tell you that if you’ve never found yourself in a position like that, then you’re not doing the things that make you happy. On three different occasions I’ve had to complete a book in one day. There are very few things I can do like that without getting exhausted. I’ve often wondered how Bishop David Oyedepo works for 18 hours, but I just discovered the secret. He’s doing what he loves. When what you do begins to take hunger and sleep away from you, then you’ve found true happiness. That may sound weird, but it’s true. And when you reach that stage, nothing can stop your prosperity.
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; PEOPLE WHO SLEEP ON DUTY DON’T LIKE THEIR DUTY. IF YOU DON’T LIKE WHAT YOU DO, THEN FIND WHAT YOU LIKE AND START DOING IT. DO IT ALONGSIDE THOSE OTHER THINGS YOU MUST DO. THAT’S HOW TO LIVE A FULFILLED LIFE. Have a most fruitful day, in Jesus precious name!
And hey, don’t forget to “like” it. And if you really like it, please share it!
