TIMELY NOTES!
Prayer can be a platform for “making requests to God” or “rendering service to God”. And while prayer requests may be answered by God, prayer services are always rewarded by Him. I’ve often said that if your prayer request is experiencing some form of delay, then turn it into prayer service by praying for someone else who has a similar need like you do. The truth is; if your prayer for that person reflects in the person’s life, then nothing will stop you from being rewarded with your own. Didn’t Eph 6:8 say that, “…whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free”?
I’ve heard people ask questions like, “How can I be praying for others when I have my own issues?” Well, you can, because that scripture says “whether you are bond(challenged) or free”. I remember how a lady came to me in February 2016 and said she needed a job. Coincidentally, I had been on the unemployment market for 5 months running that time. Having this understanding, I stopped praying for my job and focused on her. Some days later, she came to me and said she had been gainfully employed. Hearing her testimony gave me so much assurance that I’d get mine too. And to the glory of God, two months later, I was gloriously decorated with a job alongside several business ideas.
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; SHIFT YOUR FOCUS! WHAT YOU MAKE HAPPEN FOR OTHERS, GOD WILL ALSO MAKE HAPPEN FOR YOU. THE ONLY REASON WHY GOD WON’T DO IT FOR YOU IS IF HE DOESN’T DO IT FOR THE PERSON YOU’RE PRAYING FOR. Have a most fruitful week, in Jesus precious name!
And hey, don’t forget to “like” it. And if you really like it, please share it!
