TIMELY NOTES!
It’s not about what we give to God, but about the pattern by which we give what we give. I believe that Adam taught Cain and Abel the patterns through which God receives our sacrifices. Abel followed the pattern, and God accepted his offering; but for some reason, Cain neglected the pattern and did as he pleased, and God rejected his offering. You really can’t serve God on your terms, but on His terms.
Many believers don’t see returns from their tithing; not because they’re not faithful in tithing, but because they ignorantly neglect the pattern. God is not particular about the ten percent; His concern is receiving the first ten percent of your increases. He doesn’t just want ten percent, He wants the first ten percent. In other words, when you receive any income, the first thing you should separate is tithe. Before you think of what to do with what you’ve received, first deduct your tithe. That’s the pattern! Before God checks if the ten percent is complete, He first checks if you considered the tithe first. That’s the kind of tithing that guarantees returns!
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; THE BIBLE “GIVE, AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN UNTO YOU”. IF NOTHING COMES TO YOU AFTER YOU’VE GIVEN, THEN CHECK THE PATTERN THROUGH WHICH YOU GAVE. Have a most fruitful day, in Jesus precious name!
And hey, don’t forget to “like” it. And if you really like it, please share it!
