TIMELY NOTES!
King Saul and little David argued over facing Goliath. “Dear David, I know you’re passionate, but you’re too young, Goliath will crush you in seconds”, “Oh king, I killed Lions and bears when they came after my father’s sheep; I will also defeat this Goliath because he has come after God’s people”, “Moreover, the God that helped me kill those deadly animals will also help me defeat Goliath”. “Alright, go, your God will be with you”.
David brought back Goliath’s head after the battle; and Saul, knowing that only certain tribes can accomplish such feats, asked him, “Young man, whose son are you?”. The moment David mentioned Jesse – from the tribe of Judah, the argument ceased. Saul knew that the tribe that David came from was a prevailing tribe, and that no one ever fought against them and prevailed, not even Goliath. Jesus also came from that tribe, the tribe of Judah. The bible says “the Lion of the tribe of Judah has prevailed”. If that’s the case, then Judah is also our spiritual tribe; and that means we’re destined to overcome any storm in life.
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; FACE YOUR FEARS, JUST AS JESUS FACED THE CROSS AND DAVID FACED GOLIATH. THE TRACK RECORD OF YOUR TRIBE IS FULL OF VICTORIES; AND THE GOD WHO GAVE THEM VICTORY WILL ALSO GIVE YOU VICTORY. Have a most fruitful day, in Jesus precious name!
