TIMELY NOTES!
Everybody wants certain blessings from God; they pray day and night just to lay hold on their heart desires. But the question many of us have failed to answer is, “Can God trust you?”. I’ve come to discover that “faith in God” and “trust from God” are both required to receive from God. Yes, you want a car, but can God trust you to maintain it? You want to be connected to influential people, but can God trust you with managing the information they share with you? I know you probably need a change of job so badly, but can God trust you with the kind of job you need?
It’s really not about what you need, it’s about the assurance you give to God. It’s not about the kind of man or woman you want God to give you for a spouse, it’s about the kind of trust that you show. If you want to be rich, then prove to God that you have financial integrity and discipline. Financial abundance is not a product of much work, but a great depth of liberality. People who don’t know how to give may never receive power to get wealth. Financial empowerment seminars may teach you the skills to get rich, but “giving” releases power to get wealth. What’s the use of skill without power? So, before you conclude that God has not answered your prayers, check to see how much trust you’ve tendered.
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; TRUST IS YOUR CERTIFICATE TO RECEIVE FROM GOD. WHILE YOU MAY HAVE FAITH THAT GOD WILL DO WHAT YOU ASK, HE’D ALSO CHECK TO SEE IF HIS TRUST IN YOU CAN HANDLE IT. WHILE YOU BUILD YOUR FAITH IN GOD, ALSO BUILD YOUR FAITHFULNESS TO GOD.
