TIMELY NOTES!
Do what works for you! Who told you that you must buy a land before considering buying a car? If you eventually buy the land, how would you visit the site when you start building? Before you take counsel from a person about a delicate matter, search within your heart and see what really works for you. Sometimes, good counsel may not necessarily be the right counsel. There are people who prefer to live under pressure, advising them to save for the future may eventually wreck their future. They function better when a need begins to press them. You can’t tell them to buy a land when they don’t know how it feels to pay rent. If they follow that advice, they may never own a land, neither will they rent an apartment. And this is why many young people are still living with their parents.
We’re all wired differently by God. Haven’t you heard the saying that “one man’s food is another man’s poison”? That’s why no matter how good you are at what you do, you’d still find people who do not like what you do. The bible says Jesus went about “doing good” and healing all who were oppressed of the devil; by that, one would think that everybody would be happy with Him. But on the contrary, some group of people didn’t like Him, they even plotted to kill Him. People suggest all manner of things; some will even tell you to disable the use of ATM Card and Mobile Banking from your account, so that you won’t spend too much. If you check, many of them never grow beyond a defined financial status. This is an aberration, and it has to stop!
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; IT’S GOOD TO SEEK PROFESSIONAL COUNSEL, BUT LET GOD HAVE THE FINAL SAY. WHEN GOD IS YOUR SHEPHERD, YOU SHALL NOT WANT. Have a most fruitful day, in Jesus precious name!
And hey, don’t forget to “like” it. And if you really like it, please share it!
