TIMELY NOTES!
When God wants to perform a major breakthrough in our lives, He admonishes us to stay with Him until He has completed it. Scriptures makes it clear that, It’s one thing to have God, but it’s another thing to stay with God. Jacob had God all through his stay in Laban’s house, but when it came to facing Esau his brother, he needed to stay with God all through the night. In Gen 32:26, after the angel begged Jacob to let him go, Jacob’s exact response to the angel was “I won’t let you go unless you bless me”. And amazingly, he didn’t let the angel go until he received a change of name. Indeed, some breakthroughs require some level of staying power.
In Ps 110:1, the psalmist tried to explain what God told Jesus when he said “The Lord said to my lord, sit down at my right until I make your enemy your footstool”. Did you see that? Even Jesus still needs to remain in God’s right hand until Satan loses out and the whole world is drawn to Christ. There are many ways to stay with God, but I discovered that the most efficient is to ask the Holy Spirit to sit on you until your breakthrough is established. After Saul was anointed to be king over Israel, it’s amazing that most of the steps he took were wrong, except for the times that the Spirit of God entered into him. Imagine if the Spirit of God was always with him, would he have lost his throne? Honestly, you may never get or maximize some blessings until you engage this mystery. I have good news for you; the Holy Spirit will sit on you until your long desired breakthrough is established!
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; ONE WITH GOD IS MAJORITY; AND AS THEY SAY, MAJORITY CARRIES THE VOTE. STAY WITH GOD; APPLYING THIS MYSTERY WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE FOREVER. Have a most fruitful week, in Jesus precious name!
