TIMELY NOTES!
What do you see? Jeremiah said he saw the rod of an almond tree and a seething pot, Amos said he saw a plumbline and a basket of summer fruit, Zechariah said he saw a candlestick of gold with a bowl on top of it. After they told God what they saw, God confirmed that they saw well and also made progress with His agenda. Do you often feel like your life is not progressing? It’s important to note that the key to making progress is not in how we feel but in what we see. Everything they saw was a clue about the events that would come to pass; and because they saw the clue, they were able to prepare for it.
Show me a man who works day and night, and you’d find a man who has seen a clue to the future. Moses had always seen the liberation of Israel from the hands of Pharaoh, and that’s why it was easy for God to relate with him about their rescue. Jonah never saw redemption for Nineveh, that’s why he was upset when God forgave them. Trust me, God wouldn’t want to waste time on people like Jonah when people like Moses are available. God would not even need to ask people like Jeremiah what they saw when He knows that people like Moses had already seen something. So if you think God isn’t advancing your life, then maybe you’ve not answered that one question, what do you see?
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; VISION ISN’T JUST SOMETHING THAT GOD SHOWS YOU, IT’S ALSO AN ABILITY TO SEE A POSSIBILITY AHEAD. WHAT DO YOU SEE? Have a most fruitful weekend, in Jesus precious name!
And hey, don’t forget to “like” it. And if you really like it, please share it.
