TIMELY NOTES!
To be successful, first know the price, then pay the price. In Luke 14:28, the bible says “for which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?”. Any project you begin without first counting the cost may end up as an abandoned project. This is obviously why we see many abandoned projects around us. They started with zeal, but zeal alone won’t supply all the materials needed.
Faith is a building material. Just as cement is needed to build a house, faith is also needed. The bible says “every house is built by some man, but he that builds all things is God”. In other words, you may build the house, but only God can build “all things” about the house. If you buy everything else without buying faith, then you’ve most likely signed up for an abandoned project. And this is because “without faith, it’s impossible to commit God to any building”. This is probably why the bible says we should “buy the truth and sell it not”. Don’t just show me how much bricks you’ve bought for the project, also show me how many books you’ve read for the project. Don’t just show me how much you’ve saved for your wedding, also show me how much you’ve paid for marriage lessons. Reading your school handouts is good; but if you want God to build “all things” about your school life, then read God’s handout, because that’s where faith comes from. Faith plus any material will finish any project.
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take this last words; STARTING A MAJOR PROJECT IN YOUR LIFE WITHOUT FAITH IS RISKY. YOU MAY BUILD IT, BUT IF YOU WANT TO BUILD ALL OF IT, THEN FAITH IN GOD IS REQUIRED. HE THAT BUILDS “ALL THINGS” IS GOD. Have a most fruitful week, In Jesus precious name!
And hey, don’t forget to “like” it. And if you really like it, please share it!
