Christianity is sweet, but the devil has vowed to make it a bitter experience. I know, “the blessings of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow to it”, but why do we keep hearing sorrowful news on how Christians were slaughtered for no offence? Slaughtered for no offence? That’s not true; giving your life to Christ was an offense to the devil. The day you became born again, you became his worse enemy. Psalm 35:7 tells us that “for without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul”. Psalms 34:19 went further to say that “Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but God always delivers them”. This fight isn’t really because we sinned, but because we’re saved.
We may be afflicted, but it should lead to our glorification, not to our destruction. Hosea 4:6 tells us that the reason why God’s people are destroyed is because they lack knowledge. According to 2 Cor 4:17, our sufferings and afflictions should be light and only last for a moment. And every affliction we go through should work out an exceeding and eternal weight of glory for us. This scripture explains what happened to Jesus; Satan was on His case until He was nailed to the cross. But if only Satan knew that God had a plan, he would not have crucified Jesus. These terrorists came late; no matter how much more they oppress believers, when God reveals the weight of glory that should come, they’d all bow! But let’s keep praying, let’s keep faithing, let’s keep fasting, until the day of His appearing.
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take this last words; GOD IS NOT SLOW; HE’S JUST A MASTER STRATEGIST. HE HAS RESERVED THE FINAL BLOW FOR THE SET TIME; AND AFTER THAT, PHARAOH WILL LET US GO. Have a most fruitful day, in Jesus precious name!
