TIMELY NOTES!
When the brook is dried up, God finds another way to keep you alive. Don’t live in pain assuming that God is aware of your situation. God may have told you to take that step, but are you sure He hasn’t asked you to change your step? God directed Elijah to a brook where ravens brought food for him for a long time. But the brook dried up after a while, and God had to find a way to continue feeding Elijah. It wasn’t long before He sent him to the widow of Zarephath. But imagine for a moment, what if Elijah didn’t hear from God the second time? Wouldn’t he have thought that it was God’s will for him to suffer thirst and hunger?
This has been the undoing of many believers; they stay where they are when God has since directed them to somewhere else. I remember how God gave me a job in a company where I worked for over two years. God’s exact words were, “I’m sending you to a place where you’d learn”. I held on to that word and stayed with that company even when salary won’t come for, sometimes, 3 months. I thought, “since it’s God’s will, let me go through the pain”. Suddenly, unnecessary issues began to spring up; my boss picked up quarrels with me over very minute things. He became something and someone else. Today, if you ask him what happened, he’d tell you he was under a strange influence. Yeah, my time there had expired but I didn’t know. We fought till I was forced to leave the company. I felt guilty for leaving a company that God sent me to; but surprisingly, when I prayed to God about it, He told me not to look back.
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; IT WAS A YEAR AFTER I LEFT THAT COMPANY THAT I WROTE 27 BOOKS. THIS POSSIBILITY WOULD HAVE REMAINED LOCKED IF I STAYED THERE. Have a most fruitful day, in Jesus precious name!
And hey, don’t forget to “like” it. And if you really like it, please share it!
