If you could turn back the hands of time, what will you change? Would it be your country of birth, or your tribe? Would it be your parents, or just a sibling? Would it be your school, or an association you were part of? Would it be a friend, or a relationship you weren’t proud of? Or perhaps, your spouse, you wish you married someone else. Guess what? Even if you could make those changes, the situation may never change, it may even be worse. The truth is; it’s okay to make mistakes “in the past”, but don’t live in the past. Face your past without regrets and handle your present with confidence, living will become even more acceptable to you.
I have good news for you; in Joel 2:25-26, the bible tells us that “God will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed”. This means, though you may have suffered pain and shame in your business, career, relationships, marriage, or job, God can still restore all those years of pain and turn things around for His praise. Therefore, get set this month, because those who have pitied your condition will come back to wonder at your restoration! It will be clear to everyone that God has restored you!
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; LET THE PAST BE PAST; FOCUS ON THE PRESENT SO THAT YOU CAN REACH AN ENVIABLE FUTURE. Have a most fruitful day, in Jesus precious name!
