TIMELY NOTES!
The moment you start beating and biting yourself, everyone who sees you will consider you as a mad person. Those who care enough would impound you for psychiatric attention, and those who don’t care will leave you to continue displaying madness while they take advantage of your condition. Take advantage? Yes! Mad people are never sane enough to do anything right, and so someone has to do it for them. And whether that person does it right or wrong, what can an insane person do about it? What choice does a mad man have?
Isn’t this how the world treats the Body of Christ? Nations are in the verge of collapse, and the only concern that took priority in the heart of those who call themselves “Christians” is how a preacher preached wrongly. My goodness! Who will deliver us from this religious insanity? This is like cutting off my left hand because it doesn’t write as accurately as my right hand. Should my next door neighbour even know that my left hand doesn’t write accurately? “Wetin even concern my neighbour for the matter?” But amazingly, we share challenges within The Body to the world, they divert our attention by talking about the faults they found in them, then they do their evil works without our intervention. Let’s wake up, we are the body!
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; AS BELIEVERS, IF WE MUST STOP THE DESTRUCTION THEN WE MUST STOP BEATING AND BITING OURSELVES. WE ARE THE BODY OF CHRIST; FIGHTING OURSELVES WOULD ONLY MAKE US MAD PEOPLE. Have a most fruitful day, in Jesus precious name!
