“Pastor, I’m currently at Shiloh 2022, and I really want God to touch me upon this mountain. What do I do?”
Whenever God calls for a meeting with His people, whether Shiloh or any other gathering of His people, it’s definitely because He has an agenda. So first, you need to understand God’s agenda for that program. As declared by the visioneer, Bishop David Oyedepo, the theme for Shiloh 2022 is COVENANT HIGHWAYS. In other words, God wants to unveil higher ways to get things done.
Proverbs 14:12 tells us that, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death”. Clearly, we all have ways or strategies by which we run the different departments of our lives. Though those ways or strategies may seem right, but the moment we begin to see negative reports, then we should know that the way or strategy may be faulty.
God’s design for us is to be seated far above principalities and powers, so the moment you begin to struggle with principalities, something is wrong with your strategy. The theme of Shiloh 2022 cannot be a coincidence. Among other things, God wants to show participants higher ways or strategies to do what they do. The higher the way or strategy you engage, the farther you’d be from oppression. If challenges are so close to you, blame it on the way or the strategy.
So, as you participate in the different services at Shiloh, let Proverbs 3:5-6 be your guiding light. It says;
Proverbs 3:
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Did you see that? This Shiloh isn’t a program where you lean on your understanding. You should prepare your mind to receive new understanding or new ways to do things. I know you’ve probably been running your family and business really well, but don’t dwell on that understanding as you approach this Shiloh, God may have higher ways He wants you to run them.
Remember that He sees and knows what you can’t see or know. The strategy you’re currently engaging to manage your business may be really good now, but may become useless next year. So it’s wisdom to revalidate that strategy in this Shiloh or at least open your heart to receive a new strategy.
Some people are still struggling financially because they’ve not found the way to grow financially. It’s important to understand that while there’s a general biblical formular to get wealth, there’s also a proprietary formula – that which is specific to an individual. The general formular will work, but it will work better when you encounter a proprietary formular. And many times, these proprietary formulars may not be a scripture.
For instance, the secret that launched me into the realm of financial prosperity came from a message that Bishop David Abioye preached. It wasn’t a scripture, he just made a statement, and that statement became the pillar by which I grew financially.
Some people are not married today because they’ve been approaching the subject of relationship the wrong way. Some others are not doing well in business because of the way they handle business relationships. Many couples have crisis in their homes because of the way they run their home. If your health continues to deteriorate, chances are that the way or strategy you’re engaging is faulty.
So, as you approach every service at Shiloh 2022, you have to deliberately ask God to show you higher ways to do what you do. As the teachings are going on, be ready to receive a word. God would always appear in Shiloh by the word. 1 Samuel 3:21 says, “And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD”. That’s right! God can reveal high ways to you by His word.
I hope this has brought enlightenment to someone.
Remain ever blessed, in Jesus precious name!
