“Pastor, what will happen if a person falsifies or manipulates his way into a place of leadership and authority in a country?”

A lot will happen, both to him and to the people he’d be leading – even if they didn’t actually choose him to be their leader. Manipulating your way into power is like taking what was not legitimately given to you, which is also not different from stealing.

Let me show you a few scriptures:

SCRIPTURES 1:

Proverbs 3:
33 The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.

Zechariah 5:
3 Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.
4 I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

So here we see that a curse from the Lord has since been released upon the household of thieves. This means that any thief who is unrepentant would continue to suffer the effect of this curse.

Verse 4 speaks of the effect of this curse. It says, “… And shall consume it with the timber and stones thereof”. Timber is a word used to describe wood that is made ready for construction, while stones are used both for building foundations and building solid structures. So the very raw material that should be used for development would now be used against such a leader.

This explains why my nation has continued to struggle. The people who are in power manipulated their way through, and even if they intended to develop the nation, it would be impossible because of the curse of the Lord that follows manipulators.

No matter how good your intentions are, if you cheated to get power, you can’t be effective in that position. Every single one of your efforts to develop the land would have to contend with that curse, except you repent. And as your lack of productivity continues, the people you’re leading will continue to suffer.

SCRIPTURE 2:

Proverbs 11:
1 A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.

God hates deceit. Any person that falsifies election results just to gain power has become an enemy of God. According to that scripture, it’s an abomination to use a scale of deceit.

SCRIPTURE 3

Hosea 7:
1 When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without.

This tells me that the people who are under the leadership of such a person may not experience the hand of God until that leader leaves that position. This also explains why even though Christians have prayed over and again about the government, the economy keeps getting tougher, even for Christians.

Having said all of that, the bailout for those who are under such a leadership is to change government. For some people, they simply relocate to another nation or another state. While that many be a good idea, it’s still subject to luck.

The wisdom would be to change government from the spirit. The people of Israel suffered in the hands of Pharaoh until they changed government and allowed Moses to lead them – even while they were still in Egypt. As they did, they began to enjoy exemption from all the tragedies that came upon Egypt.

So find your Moses, that pastor or man of God who has a true calling from God. One who’s leadership can exempt you from the harshness of any economy. Believe me, despite the difficulty in my nation, there are many people who are not feeling it, yet they live here. Not because the government is favoring them, but because they are drawing resources from the governance of a spiritual leader.

Asides submitting to the leadership of your Moses, you should also consider practicing the covenant of financial prosperity in the kingdom. This would put you on top at every point in time.

As I conclude, the reason why I pray and fight for genuine leaders in my country is not necessarily because of me, but because of the millions of people who do not know what I know. The reason why I teach of kingdom prosperity is not because I need you to give me tithes and offering, but because I desire that you’d connect to a stream that never runs dry, the very stream that I’ve been connected to for years now.
