I totally understand what you mean, even with all our anointing from God, we still need favour with men. Recall that Jesus found favour with God and with men.
Ofcourse, the earthly ministry of Jesus was full of miracles, even more than what the bible captures, but there were many things around him that were done by human beings. The bible didn’t give us specific details about those things, but we can get a hint from Luke’s gospel. Let’s read a few verses:
1 And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him
2 And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils
3 And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.
So notice that as Jesus went about his earthly ministry, he had people who worked with him. These people includes; his twelve disciples, Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Susanna, and many others. Asides the twelve disciples, if you check the profile of those women that were mentioned, they were women of great substance. For instance, it was mentioned there that Joanna was the wife of Chuza – who was Herod’s steward. As you know, a steward is a person who manages the properties or affairs of another entity. So that’s not a small position at all.
If verse 3 says they ministered unto Jesus with their substance, then it’s safe to say that they bankrolled Jesus’s ministry. Even when Jesus was crucified, recall that it was a rich man called Joseph of Arimathea that took his body to his tomb. So the next time you read that Jesus had favour with God and with men, you should have an idea of what that means. He really had favour with men.
Having said that, it’s demonic to find a believer who only has favour with God and not with man. If Jesus had favour with God and man, then that’s a template for all those who follow Jesus. If men were major players in is earthly ministry, then you should have men in your life who will support your earthly ministry or purpose. If you don’t have this, then you’re under attack.
It’s no longer news that Satan can hinder people from helping you. If he hindered Apostle Paul from entering Thessalonica through corrupt government officials, then he can hinder you through anybody, including your relatives. That’s why you shouldn’t be surprised when your uncle suddenly changed his mind from helping you. He promised to give you a job yesterday, and today he’s changed his mind. That’s Satan at work.
Recall that Satan tried to hinder Jesus’s death through Peter. After Jesus announced his death to his disciples, we’re told that Peter began to resist it. In response to that, Jesus didn’t counsel Peter to take heart, he reacted saying “Get thee behind me Satan”. Just like you said, you qualify for the job, but no man is willing to give you favour, it’s probably time to resist that devil that is hindering you.
Don’t bother yourself getting angry with the men and women that have denied you or refused to help you, it’s the same people that will still call you back, just deal with that devil.
Speaking of having no man to help you, you do have a man, a man whose name every knee bows to, and every tongue confesses that He is Lord. There is no name on earth that can stand the authority that backs up that name, neither is there any authority on earth that can resist the authority from that name. That name is Jesus Christ. Recall that He didn’t ascend to heaven as a Spirit, He ascended as a glorified man.
So the next time you step out in search of a business or a job, step out in the name of Jesus. No devil on earth can dare to resist you as long as you’re moving in the name. Submit your CV in that name, apply for that project in that name.
Now that I think about it, God is indeed All-wise. He knows that Satan will attempt to hinder His people from receiving favour in this world, so He gave us someone who even presidents are subject to. Isn’t this beautiful?
I hope this has brought enlightenment to someone.
Remain ever blessed, in Jesus precious name!
