TIMELY NOTES!
The devil has devised better means of attacking believers. Don’t wait till you see a huge bird standing on your roof, or a scary cat standing by your gate, before you’d know you’re under a spiritual attack. When you begin to lose desire for spiritual things, when you begin to do your kingdom assignments out of duty and not out of desire, when you become weary in well-doing, when you suddenly prefer to hang out with worldly friends than your kingdom friends, when your body is often too weak to engage in spiritual matters, when your finances is constantly degrading, when your health becomes unstable, then you’re under an attack.
The truth is; the devil has a right to attack us, but he doesn’t have the power to defeat us. He has the right to shoot at us, but he doesn’t have the power to kill us. Remember how He attacked Lazarus with sickness, who eventually died. But some days after his death, Jesus proved that even though Satan’s attack killed Lazarus, Satan does not have the power to kill. He went on to his grave and raised Lazarus – who had been dead for four days.
That’s how far we’d go on today’s Timely Note. But take these last words; IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO DEFEAT THE DEVIL. HOWEVER, JESUS USED POWER TO TRIUMPH OVER SATAN’S ATTACK. YOU’D ALSO NEED POWER. Have a most fruitful weekend, in Jesus precious name!
